HIMGA Board Meeting February 17, 2010

President Dick Smith called the meeting to order at 9am. Present were Dick Smith, Gerry Potter, Clint Miller, Lyn Westling, Don Shafer, John Inman and Ron Blasucci.

Ron read the minutes from the last meeting 11-24-2009. The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report

HIMGA web site and name was renewed for the coming year at a cost of $80.

All debts have been paid.

Collected $600 from 4 of 5 web site sponsors.

2010 Budget was presented by Gerry Potter. After much discussion motion was made and seconded to accept the budget. Motion passed. Budget will be posted on our web site

Social

Clint purchased sympathy and get well cards.

Get well cards were sent to Dick Lytle, C.J. Lough and Bob Maples.

Pat Peterson, wife of Pete Peterson, passed away in February 2010.

One new sponsor has been added to our web site, Island Airco.

We now have five sponsors, Community Bank, Bear Creek Nursery, Cornerstone Bank, Sun Fest and Island Airco.

Lyn contacted Kelly Trahan regarding HIMGA/HILGA fun day tournament/fund raiser and will finalize date, cost and food.

Tournament Committee

Committee will review the rules of golf and re write as necessary. Approval by the HIMGA board at next meeting and will be posted before the kickoff breakfast on March 30^th.

Motion made and seconded to approve the HIMGA 2010 schedule.

Motion passed.

Revisions made to the  HIMGA Constitution and By-Laws.

Lyn will make revisions and post on our web site.

Meeting adjourned at 10:15am.
